Paint is an easy and inexpensive category in which to meet low VOC content compared to only a few years ago. Generally, strive for 50g/L or less VOC content. Many specifications indicate paint type by MPI number. MPI recently introduced the "X-Green" or "Extreme Green" which provides an environmental performance standard. Adding this label may facilitate the establishment of a Green Spec and prevent last minute changes that don't meet your environmental standard.
